Growing in our ability to receive and give love is tied to spiritual growth. Maturing in our relationship with Jesus also means opening ourselves—and our human relationships—to transformation. The Emotionally Healthy Relationships course teaches eight core relationship skills, equipping us to love others in a mature way. The course is also designed to help us slow down and to pay attention to how God is working in our past experiences, our current situation, and our hopes and dreams for the future.

EHR is designed as both a personal and communal experience. Participants will go through the course with a table leader, and a group of 5-7 others. Each session includes both live and video teaching, personal reflection, and group discussion. Participant packets include a workbook and a daily "office" (structured devotional) book. During the week, participants are encouraged to attend to the daily office, and to practice their newly-learned relationship skill. No other preparation required.

The Emotionally Healthy Discipleship courses (Emotionally Healthy Relationships, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality) were designed by Pete and Geri Scazzero. More information can be found at the website emotionallyhealthy.org.
